From the Beginning

Garden State OG was started by Rob Mejia.

The brand’s intent is to pay homage to cannabis pioneers in New Jersey. Our OG’s have been shaping cannabis culture and the market since the beginning. Whether the impact happens through advocacy, education, or personal outreach, it matters.

That’s why New Jersey, the Garden State, needs an authentic home grown cannabis brand that reflects hard work, equity, opportunity, education, and commitment to change. That brand is GSOG.

Right now, every state has to create and sustain their own cannabis program. We’re fine with that. We know New Jersey is different than every other state in the union. We’re connected. We help each other. We’re smart. We innovate. We’re resilient. We figure it out. And that’s where Garden State OG’s come in.

From the beginning of cannabis legalization in New Jersey, GSOG’s have been there. We testify in front of state bodies, write laws and ordinances, speak at township meetings, develop cannabis curriculum, educate at seminars, help expunge cannabis records, and most importantly, we show up and care.

Our work continues every day and now is your chance to support our work. And to start your own journey as a Garden State OG.
