The initiative honors New Jersey’s cannabis pioneers while helping prepare the next generation of leaders in science, policy, business, and community engagement within the evolving cannabis industry.
Rob Mejia is an award-winning adjunct cannabis professor at Stockton University and President of Our Community: A Cannabis Education Company. He is the author of The Essential Cannabis Book - 2nd Edition and Cannabis Careers: The Insider’s Guide to a Budding Industry. Rob is currently launching several cannabis brands and teaches medical patients and their families how to cook with cannabis.
OG’s support the people, programs, and organizations that enhance the New Jersey Cannabis Market.
Here are some concrete first steps to take:
Show up at events where Garden State OG’s volunteer their time. Tell us what you need. Let us find the right resources and answers for you. Make your thoughts known. The most popular events include job fairs, educational seminars, expungement clinics, dispensary openings and more.
The best way to find out who to follow in NJ cannabis is to get on LinkedIn. Start by following Garden State OG Rob Mejia who is a Stockton University cannabis professor, author, online educator, journalist, and cannabis cook.
